How does D'Cal work?

D'Cal uses proprietary sequestering technology that masks calcium ions in your water, making them incapable of forming scale on surfaces. The minerals stay in the water, but they lose their scale-forming ability.

How long does one cartridge last?

10-12 months for a typical 4-member family, softening up to 50,000+ litres of water. After 10 months, we recommend repeating the self-performance test.

Does it work on borewell water?

Yes. D'Cal is tested and effective for borewell water with TDS up to 1,200 ppm.

Is the water safe to drink after D'Cal treatment?

Yes. D'Cal uses food-grade, BPA-free, non-toxic material. It doesn't remove minerals from water — it only neutralises their scale-forming ability. Test reports are available on request.

Installation

How do I install D'Cal?

Just drop the cartridge into your overhead water tank. No plumber, no tools, no electricity required. Installation takes 15 minutes.

What size tank does it fit?

Standard D'Cal cartridge is suitable for tanks up to ~1,500 litres (independent houses). For larger tanks or apartment complexes, contact us at sales@befach.com.
